Given :-
Weight of stone in air, W = 450 N
Weight of stone in water, Wwater = 200 N
Find :- Volume of stone, V
Solution :-
Weight of stone in water, W = water Weight of stone - Buoyant force
W water = W-F B
200 = 450 - FB
FB = 250 N
 
Buoyant force, FB = Weight of water displaced = water XV water
250 = 9810 x water
Vwater = 0.025 m
 
Volume of water displaced, = water Volume of stone,
V = 0,025 m
